The AB&A™ ABS rib grip shower drain with receptor base offers fast and reliable drainage for residential showers with preformed bases. Compatible with 2 in Schedule 40 DWV (drain, waste and vent) piping with solvent welds, this ABS receptor floor drain features either a screw-down or snap-in strainer top to prevent unwanted items from entering the drain. A tightening bar is included to efficiently connect the base drain to the existing waste piping. To ensure your waste and overflow system is safe and functioning properly, an integral test plug-rated for three-story DWV pressure testing is also included. AB&A™ bath wastes are available in a variety of finishes to complement today’s designs and customer preferences, delivering consistent high-quality in both new construction and retrofit markets.
