This 1/2 inch lead free HydroGuard(R) thermostatic mixing valve high-capacity design makes it ideal for hot water heaters installations. It features a compact design and brass construction, Viega ProPress(R) connections, lock-in handle mechanism, paraffin-based actuator, and integral check valves with inlet screens to prevent cross-flow and contamination. The thermostatic element ensures optimal, consistent performance over a wide range of temperatures. The temperature range is 90 to 160 degrees F (32 to 71 degrees C) and the maximum operating pressure is 125 psi (862 kPa).
