This recessed outlet box is designed to be installed in the stud bay, giving your flex exhaust hose plenty of housing space and keeping it hidden from view. Made of sturdy 22 ga molded aluminized steel, the Dryer box® minimizes lint build-up, protects the flex hose from getting squished and reduces fire hazard. It meets code requirements as a cleanout and can also double as a gas connection receptacle.
