Diaphragm valves are ideal for processes that require precise flow throttling. They feature a weir-style design that ensures there is no dead space in the valve. This is extremely well suited to abrasive slurries, high-purity applications and potential off-gassing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite. Styles range from compact and direct acting to high-end industrial designs with numerous features and benefits. IPEX diaphragm valves come in many material, body-style and diaphragm options, and they are available in both manual and pneumatically actuated versions. The union nut is a threaded nut on the end of a valve that allows for simple connection and disconnection of the valve from the piping system. A rugged polypropylene (PP) component, this diaphragm valve PP union nut allows for easier maintenance and repair of your piping system.
