Housing retaining ring replacement part for use with 3M™ industrial filter housings. Piston for 3M™ water treatment systems is a subcomponent of the water treatment system. The purpose of the piston is to direct water through the control valve during the re-generation process. This allows water to cycle through its various stages to perform the task of ensuring continuous treated water.
