The ProTech® expansion valve is a crucial component in the refrigeration cycle, controlling the amount of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator to maintain optimal system performance. The Type CBBI Thermal Expansion Valve is a balanced port valve with integral check valve assembly. The CBBI expansion valves are designed for use on residential and small commercial heat pump systems which require a check valve.
