We designed the 3M™ AQUA-PURE™ whole house water filtration replacement cartridge which is our replacement water filter cartridge for sump-style housings. Our whole house water treatment systems are sometimes referred to as Point of Entry (POE) systems and are installed immediately downstream from the water meter or well pump. Cartridges must be replaced every six months or sooner if there's a noticeable reduction in flow rate. If water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality adequate disinfection should be used before or after the water filtration system.
