Rehau® PRO-BALANCE® pressure differential bypass valve module is recommended for use in heating systems using manifolds with valve actuators or when the flow output of one circulator pump is controlled by multiple zone valves. The bypass valve diverts excess flow when one or more actuators (of zone valves) closes, preventing excessive flow velocities. The benefits of this are reduced wear on the pump, reduction or elimination of noise problems in valves and pipes and more stable temperature control. The Rehau® PRO-BALANCE® pressure differential bypass valve module is simply-mounted onto the PRO-BALANCE® manifold. Ensure that the arrow on the valve body is pointing from the high-pressure side to the low pressure side of the manifold. Flat gaskets are supplied and the union nuts should be securely tightened.
