In 1969 IPS revolutionized how washing machine connections are installed with the introduction of the first plastic center drain washing machine outlet box. 40 years later, listening to the needs to the professional plumbing contractor, this box has been redesigned to reduce labor for the installer and inventory for the wholesaler. The new design Center Drain Econo Box features a top drain option to accommodate the need for a top mount valve installation without having to remove the pre-installed valves. Simply invert the Econo Box for a top mount/bottom drain option.
