Sioux Chief 867 series adjustable planter area drain shall be used where necessary in drainage systems. Drain shall allow adjustment within the planter box using contractor-supplied 4" Sch. 40 pipe. Lower drain body shall include an FIP thread clamping collar and thread x hub adapter. Upper drain body shall include a clamping collar/gravel guard and dome strainer. Drain shall have a Sch. 40 hub connection, which conforms to ASTM D2665 (PVC) or D2661 (ABS). Connection to drainage system shall be made with a solvent weld joint to ABS/PVC pipe.
