The MagicMend® extender fitting is designed to glue over existing fittings where there is not enough pipe left for a connection. Simply remove any excess pipe and connect the MagicMend® extender fitting by gluing over the existing fitting. The standard 1-1/2 in and 2 in extender fittings will accept a 1-1/2 in pipe or a 2 in fitting, so you have the option of continuing the plumbing with either size pipe. The part numbers ending in (F) only accept pipe.
