The HoldRite® #117 Series no hub fitting restraints are designed to reinforce no hub cast iron installations at 90 deg changes of direction in accordance with the installation instructions of US cast iron soil pipe manufacturers, CiSPI designation 310-11 and the 2006 CISPI installation handbook. The #117-3K (2 in and 3 in size), #117-4K (4 in size), #117-5K (5 in size), #117-6K (6 in size) and #117-8K (8 in size) retain the 90 deg elbow onto the adjoining piping. All five-stainless steel bands must be tightened to 60 in-lb minimum. When installed correctly, these restraint brackets achieve a safe thrust pressure rating equal to 50 ft head of water pressure.
