This 4 IN Ames Fire and Waterworks, series 1000SS, detector check valve is used in fire protection applications to detect leakage or unauthorized use of water in fire sprinkler systems. It consists of a stainless steel body construction with flanged connections, bypass, and stainless steel linkage parts. It is lightweight, non-corrosive, and can be installed in a horizontal or vertical position and has a cubic feet meter. The maximum pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
