The 5050 duplex control provides alternating operation of two 120 V pumps. Plug-in ready wiring makes installation easy. Simply plug the pumps into the provided receptacles. No hard wiring required. The 5050 pump control and alarm makes connecting an indoor duplex sump pump system easy. All cords are factory installed and connection is as simple as plugging in the pumps. In normal operation the pumps will alternate after each cycle. This provides equal use of both pumps - extending pump life. If an alarm condition occurs (top float switch activates), the alarm light and horn turn on. The pump in use will turn off and the other pump will turn on. Pumping will continue until the pump float switch (bottom float switch) deactivates.
