This 1/4 inch lead free temperature and pressure brass test plug is color coded green and is made from viton for hot oil service and is chemical resistant with a temperature range of negative 10 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The plug allows for quick and efficient temporary insertion of a recorder or gauge for temperature or pressure readings eliminating the need to leave them in line. The system does not need to be shut down for temperature and pressure checks. The plug can be used in hot oil service or chemical resistance. It is not recommended for use with probes larger than .080 diameter due to potential leakage.
