Securely block off a variety of pipes from the inside with the Test-Tite Twist N Seal pipe seal kit. Quick and easy-to-use, this pipe seal kit allows you to install a temporary sealing plug inside DWV (drain, waste and vent) pipe, stopping the water flow while you solder or cement pipe fittings. Simply turn-off the water supply, drain the pressure from the system and screw a rubber seal on the threaded end of the pipe seal installation tool. Tighten the rubber seal until it just fits in the pipe and then insert it, holding the handle at a right-angle position. Next, lift the handle to a straight position to create a secure seal in the pipe. If more sealing pressure is needed, return the handle to the right-angle position, tighten the rubber seal clockwise one turn and then return the handle to the straight position. The pipe seal holds up to 60 psig and more seals (sold separately) are available to fit a variety of pipe sizes. No extra tools are required and changing plugs is as easy as unscrewing the rubber seal and replacing it with the appropriate size.
