Marketing Information
This 1/2 inch HydroGuard(R) thermostatic mixing valve is designed for shower and tub/shower installations. Using an advanced thermal actuator, this valve quickly compensates for temperature fluctuations induced by water temperature and pressure changes, and automatically mixes hot and cold water to deliver tempered water within a specified range. In the event of cold water failure, the thermostatic element virtually shuts off the flow of hot water. It features a solid cast brass body construction, built-in adjustable temperature metal to metal limit stop, and polished chrome plated lever type handle.
