• Direct indoor unit on-off control (a single evaporator) by external contact, 0 V signal (indoor unit control will vary based on indoor unit model and series, consult indoor unit installation manuals and supporting documents for full operation details) Outdoor unit night time quiet mode manual activation by external contact, 0 V signal (when installed in supported MAIN DVM S/DVM S2 outdoor units) Indoor unit control with simple contact input Indoor unit operation and error state output through relay contact Outdoor unit compressor operation and error state and manual activation of night quiet mode (when installed in supported DVM S/DVM S2 outdoor units) Installs inside individual indoor units that need control or in main outdoor unit (DVM S/DVM S2 Series outdoor units only) Control indoor unit and have synchronous control with other devices through the external contact input/output signals Operation output relay can be configured to open/close based on operation on-off or thermal on-off state (compressor on-off state when installed in outdoor unit) Backup unit control when using the emergency temperature output (ETO) option settings for supported DVM S and CAC indoor units, (1) MIM-B14 per indoor unit required DVM S indoor unit supplemental heat control with configurable temperature offset and time delay settings

External contact control module to control an indoor unit (on-off) via 0 V dry contact. MIM-B14 also provides an operation and error out put (0 V dry contact) signal. MIM-B14 is also used for various other indoor unit operation depending on indoor unit series and model (DVM S supplemental heat control and unoccupied room control). MIM-B14 can also install in DVM S outdoor units to monitor system on-off status, error status and to manually enable night time quiet operation mode.
