- Made from durable thermoplastic material that is flame retardant, abrasion resistant, non-porous, and non-corrosive. Expandable spring grips into the wire and adjusts itself to the wire size and shape so pre-twisting is unnecessary. Even during temperature changes, they resist vibrations and retain holding power. Contoured wing design provides comfort for fingers and enables maximum torque during application. The long, deep skirt provides maximum dielectric protection and prevents flashover and turned-back strands. For copper to copper connections only; do not use on aluminum wire.
