- High-strength, forged carbon steel construction. Designed to reduce stray current and galvanic corrosion in gas piping systems. Self-aligning, non-conductive elastomer gasket and thermoplastic insert create a positive seal and complete isolation between piping ends. Coated with a rust-inhibitor seal in place of galvanization, compatible with gas piping system components. Available in sizes 1/2" to 2" in the FIP x FIP configuration.
